It was 3.9km on the map but I wasn’t sure whether to log the distance I ran or the distance on the map so here we are. I messed up no1 and no2 a bit when it came down to the detail, I got to the area alright but precisely where they were was a struggle. I think I did quite well on the long legs but towards the end the legs got shorter and because my legs ached so much I couldn’t run v fast.

I thought I was second by 9secs but it turns out Martin bagness beat us by 10min, not surprising, it was still fun.

Just went swimming as I was hoping it would loosen me off and help my muscles. I enjoyed it and felt like it did me good.

In the demonstrations of the exercises i ended up planking and squeezing glutes for 2min as the starter, then get ups, then scorpion, 50 throw downs, monster walks, bulgarian squats and various drills.

I did my cumbria way route which i hadn't done in ages cos i am terrified of the cows but i had a lovely cow free run today. However it was really really muddy so i was doing high knees though shin deep mud and what felt like constant uphill the whole time. My legs were aching from before i set off so they weren't great but glad i got out.

we had our gym induction, so we used all the relevant machines but only for 8 reps on each so it wasn't very hard with a 10min intervals on the cross trainer

Wasn't feeling too great, legs ached and felt like jelly so didn't want to push too hard and the rain was piercing but glad i got out
