Run #2 Threshold/Vo2 workout
Phew! Tough effort
Fragmented due to kids (drat those kids)
15 min WU - no problem
First mile of the tempo - done, then I had to stop and get the kids organized. Stopped for about 1 min
Finished the tempo
Hill portion was HARD! Much harder than I expected. But DONE!!!

May have been a little over "easy" pace, but I'm trying to squeeze in what I can. Don't know if these are "junk" miles, but I know I will be coming up short this week
TM run - Average pace was about 7.1 mph

"Run #1"
This week is going to have to be..."appreciate whatever I can get in" It is a short week at school and we have lots of family committments.
Did 45 min on very hilly trail, then the remainder on urban road/trail. That said, I did "run" up every hill, even hills that I previously would have power hiked up.
Felt fine, minor bunion pain in right foot. Used the Saucony Trails shoes for the hilly trail, switched to Hoka's for the urban road/trail.
Also - during the "urban trail" portion, tried to work on the downhill running as prescribed. Still not sure what I'm doing, just trying to go faster downhill and look farther ahead.
