Bike 1:15:00 [4]

Indoor bike. Endurance session....maintained high heart rate....mix of hills, cadence pyramids, and surge efforts. Was pleased to push hard after tempo session yesterday.

Loop of the prom to get Marcothon miles in....finished at the chippy!!

Road Running 1:08:22 [4] 17.56 km (3:54 / km)

Musselburgh loop down beach including 10k tempo (kms 2-11). Felt good and strong....kept tempo around 3.40/ 3.45 pace. Slightly easier on way back 4.05 / 4.20 pace. Happy with the session.

Arthur's Seat - Easy route with Kev, Cam and Derek. Legs still a bit tired from weekend but feeling good overall. Steady pace.

Intervals - 2x5min (90sec) 2x4min (80sec) 2x3min (70sec). Legs feeling very tired and heavy on way down from weekend running. Set out with Mark but couldn't quite stay with him...not far behind. Sat behind Mark and Cat for most of the session but pace was consistent and reasonable. Managed to finish strong and lift pace for last rep which felt good. Really pleased with the session.
