Warm up / cool down - East District XC

Trail Running race 36:58 [5] 9.52 km (3:53 / km)

East District XC - Livingston. Cold day with ground frozen in parts. 3.2 km undulating loop over grass and trail. Please to maintain a good pace throughout (avg 3.53). Found the uphill sections tough, particularly on last loop but happy overall. Feeling fitness improving. 8th Carnethy....hoping for top 6 but a well fielded day so not too disappointed.

Late marcothon minimum. Chilly out but a nice easy run once I got going. Feeling fresher than yesterday.

10x1min with 1 min floating rec. Session is always harder than it look on paper! Stuck with Mark for first half managed to keep recoveries at a reasonable pace but fell away on recovery 6. Finished the efforts strong and pleased overall, good tough session.
