Road Running 2:13:43 [3] 31.51 km (4:15 / km)

Loop from house through town, on to cycle paths, out to Cramond (down River Almond) and follow coast back through to Portobello and home. Wet and dreary morning. Took a bit to get going but felt good from about 10k through to 25k and moving well at a comfortable pace. Needed to push a little for last 7k to maintain pace but finished reasonably strong. Pleased with run....first 20 miler in a while. Good route too covering most of north Edinburgh!

Run to work after nursery drop off. Steady run. Legs slightly stiff after run home the night before....took it easy.

Trail Running 41:37 [3] 9.26 km (4:30 / km)

Strides. Loop with Andy and Dave before heading to St Marks park. Steady on strides, felt good to stretch legs out.

Conditioning 10:00 [3]

Circuits...cautious as usual....still watching back.

Cycle home from work

Run home from work - round Queens drive and down innocent cycle path. Comfortable push on pace. Good run.

Intervals - 8x3mins (80 rec). Enjoyed this session more than I thought on the way down. Good to have Mark setting the pace early and stuck with him for session (until rep 6 he turned back). Good hard pace just outside my comfort zone so good to push. Gave Andy a distance challenge for last rep and he went off quick...my aim was to keep him in reasonable distance so had to push hard to finish. Very pleased with fitness just now.
