Goal 8mi to catch up felt scary so focused on first 4. 90 footfalls 2mi figured I should slow but felt good. Practiced Gu @4mi (thanks P!), fine; saw I was doing 10m mi was psyched. Felt great at pace to 8mi - 65deg, cool=better run - felt bit of drop, slowed—goal 9mi to catch up from weeks off but at 8.4 remem P said only add 10%, so stopped. Felt great after, knee all better via stretching, soleus still painful no problem running. Pink clouds. Unicyclist! 1) Gu good may need water 2) too many traffic lights 3) need to plan route ahead too distracting
