Running 19:09 [4] 2.0 mi (9:34 / mi)

In Carlsbad. Didn’t want to go but have been eating crap and didn’t run Thu on plan. Temp good terrain bad - choices: outlet mall lot or dark deserted car dealership highway. Stopped at 1/2mi then challenged myself to continue, and try 2d mile much faster - pushed hard 1/2mi. On days off/wkend/vaca need to go mornings I fizzle by 5. Disappointed in will, feeling mentally lame.

Running (Sprints - Run home from w) 49:59 [3] 5.0 mi (10:00 / mi)

Good run 64 deg. 2mi run, 30/30 sprints (20 mins/2mi), 1 mile run. Started tough but felt fine then great, could have continued. Traffic lights a problem and mask distracting, breaking out. Tot feeling neck strain looking fwd to resting it. I hate that my sprint time is same as my run time. 1) need light-free routes. 2) must write down plans - contacts, keys etc.

Lift 5:00 [3]

Tried lifting 10 lbs neck strain hurts and want to get to bus to run before too cold (1h later now/time change). Did 2 sets bi 1 tri, 3 sets 10 back only / roller ball thing on upper back to massage strain.

Didn’t want to go went anyway mental toughness. Took it easy focusing on form tried some L breathing b/c R neck strained sucked. Cut short need to apply jobs tonite.

Good run - 70 hot sun/cold shade. Again was worried about doing 9 but felt fine, kept easy, woke at 9.7. Fell at 6mi thinking about course (b/c not planned). Must keep head up feet up run w intention. 1) MUST plan course before 2) must plant water before 3) eat well on Sat 4) blox = cramps, stick w gels
