Running race 57:35 [3] 6.5 mi (8:52 / mi)

Gorgeous views missed first couple water stops looking up at buildings. Thought I was going slow at first but saw 9:15 mi tried slowing but need a pace watch thing too hard w phone. Back hurt last cpl mi need to strengthen core and get better everyday shoes. Only one cheering or apparently enjoying, people in LA are lame

Low quality didn’t eat/drink enough/properly. Just toast and raisins today forgot to lunch left v late 4p. Gu before. Temp good. 1st long run new shoes fine. Raisins @5mi fine. Legs fatigued after 8mi got mini water prob too little too late (& Gu). 2d wind 12th mi. Starving so ran home on and off 13th mi. Bad: no prep. Good: feared going but started as exploration & time off from life really enjoyed mi 1-8 new n’hoods.
