tried to go on a run but my back and knees were killing me which could just be because I’ve gone from pretty flat running to a little bit of up and down hill running. Not too confident on cycling on the roads so thought I’d just go on the cycle bike with some resistance. Not the most enjoyable thing todo but The Inbetweeners got me through it.

Firstly my Garmin is telling me a different time than what my splits are and on strava it says it starts from the beginning and finishes at the end so I don’t know what’s happened there but the dibber is probably more reliable (I’ve just used my Garmin time) - turns out they were the same time... idiot.
So i spiked the first control which is a first since its normally my worst control. Number 3 I wasn’t prepared for and so lost time there. The controls in the green were horrible because I had to crouch down which made it hard to see where I was and then I decided to go for a swim to number 11 which although was the easiest control I still got confused. Overall I need to practice on planning ahead and also just keeping concentrated on what I’m looking for when I get to the control.
I didn’t do that bad it’s just annoying because I know I can do so much better but I’m still getting back into the swing of things. It’s just sucks that I’ve missed out on so much :(
Ps I missed punched but I’m not counting that because the control was too close together and I think that controls on the same contour within 100m should be illegal.

Forgot to stop my watch but I think I only left it running for like 5 minutes. Felt like I was running and going nowhere probably just tired from all that cleaning yesterday.

Felt knackered after all that cleaning but I need to be doing more hills.
Definitely wasn’t wearing the correct shoes but it was a fun challenge to try and not face plant.

I was planning on going on a run after riding but my shoulder, thigh and break was in so much pain after my lesson so I thought I’d just log it instead.
