Swim seems to have eased muscles out, not feeling too bad after the mid week weekend!

Note

Think I want to try and do the frog graham next summer, so need to do some swimming in the pool over winter and get a wetsuit ready for trying some proper lake swimming next year

Running (off road) (Wasdale wadventure day 2) 5:34:17 [3] 22.5 km (14:51 / km) +2066m 10:11 / km

Day 2

B&B was amazing, and so was 10hours sleep on some v full stomachs.

Up Lingmell, Scafell Pike, down corridor route, up Gable, Green Gable, Brandreth, Grey Knotts, Dale Head, Robinson

Lovely day out, packs still heavy.
Had THE best time ever, perfect weather. Clear summits, not too hot or sunny, loved every step, company not bad either

Still slightly apprehensive that we have bitten off more than we can chew with the OMM but such is life!

Running (off road) (Wasdale wadventure day 1) 5:30:00 [3] 26.43 km (12:29 / km) +1879m 9:13 / km

Using Rosie's winnings from Lingmell race to tie in with some OMM prep.

Parked up in Buttermere, up Red pike (buttermere one), down into Ennerdale, up Haycock, Scoat fell, out and back to Pillar, Red pike (the other one), Yew barrow (what a LOVELY hill!), down into Wastwater for a swim, up the road and paths to the B&B

Carried all food and more than enough clothing for the days so packs fairly heavy.

Loved it so much. Bit windy at points but cloudless summits for us.
