Because it's reading break and its Friday I figured the gym would be relatively quiet. Boy was I wrong. Still, managed to do some maintenance strength and a lot of core work early this morning. Probably won't be going back there until the summer semester when there's actually no one around
a little tired and sore after sprint camp so naturally went for a skate ski to loosen up and hopefully help the recovery process. Despite that reasoning, went way to hard and climbed a little too much (I was having fun okay) so maybe tomorrow will be a real rest day.
Sprint camp day three. I really don't like running in snow, it saps all your energy. BCIT's campus was fun but the set up race had many mistakes. the chase was fast and I would have done well even without the train which kept splitting up and rejoining- nice long legs across parking lots gave a lot of time for planning ahead.
day two of sprint camp. a little sore but feeling good. The forest farsta was very quite good and I found that instead of being distracted by everyone running all over the place, it was quite helpful. otherwise, races were meh.
