Even though I have only done a few running drill sessions I am still becoming aware of how I could improve my running form/style. I have noticed a lot that when I am running my ankles always seem to roll when the ground is uneven so maybe I need to look into ankle strengthening exercises to minimise the amount my ankles roll.

Distance Squad - 1km Intervals

This session was very tiring. We did 1km intervals x3 with a 45 second between each interval. After pushing myself quite hard in the first interval I couldn't manage to keep the same pace in the last two intervals as I was feeling very tired. I was happy with the effort I put into the session overall.

1km x3 with 45 seconds rest between each km
100 meters x5
2km Warm down

I felt very comfortable running today. After having a rest from Auckland champs my legs felt good and I wasn't tight or sore.

After having distance squad in the morning I felt a bit tired so my friend and I decided to do course 1 together but take it at an easy pace.
