another fairly beefy tempo / efforts at the track. some brutal mountain breeze on the top bend but anyway.

4 x 1 mile with 400m recovery (sort of jog walk not sure about 3.5mins)

managed sub 7 on every one. pleased with this.

mental strength wavering going into the final one: "should I split it into 2 x 800m, 4 laps is quite a long way..." need to learn not to listen to that wee voice as turned out the last one was my fastest anyway. (6.50)

feeling quite fit at the moment, all the gyming and am eating well with the Spanish family. may have spoken too soon as am spending this weekend in Barca with Marina probs knee deep in sangria and tapas - balance is key?
