plenty of sleep. went all 'uni' on my dad apparently as didn't start a morning run till midday haha.

cycled next to him for 10km, then came home, ditched the bike and ran myself. duathlon.

comfortable run with dad. was expecting to feel significantly more grim than I did, however managed to hold the pace which I'm pleased with. a lot happier than I was yesterday thats for sure.

finished with the usual sprint down the road where my da usually takes me out, but today I held him off :)

felt alright for the first km, then began to die a bit between km 2 - 3. I maintained my pace for the final 2km which was good.

my dad reckons I'm still not 100% and tbh I know it myself as well.

really easy longer run for me at the moment with Georgie along the Thames.

woke up and felt like death, but as soon as I started running, I felt that I could have gone for even longer.

easy pace but still lots of sweat. acclimatisation to the southern tropics proving difficult. need to keep on top of my salt / water intake etc.

positive: I'm feeling better. the cough has begun to subside.

this session was good, 4km worth of pacey running then, however, what got me and got me baaaaaaad was the fact that we had to jog for 3 mins after to get back round to the start of the lap. no stops, no breaks no nothing.

didn't realise this quite properly until the end of the first rep that I ran in 3.40. hmm.

anyway, it was a decent session regardless. good chat and am pleased that I could do even one at 340 :)

really looking forward to going home later :) excited to be back on my usual routes.
