did NOT ANTICIPATE A WARM UP OF SUCH RIDICULOUS DISTANCE. bit of a nightmare.

will not run the one measly mile to the track on Thursday as they do a 5.5km warm up... brilliant in the old 31 degrees.

session:

5 x 200m, 80m jog, 120m, 1 min recovery jog

decent session. I wanna be up with the others. I had some lads with me which is good news and they were helping to pull me round. sweat fest but all good. a session that really worked speed endurance, despite the distance not being huuuuge.

good job the warm up was... brilliant.

NOTE

French running is very hard to understand, my numbers and chat is gonna be 10/10 when im back seeing as running and doing maths even in English is difficult, let alone in bloody French.

decided to split my long run into two as I knew I didn't have a very busy day today and would be maybe a wee bit lonely.

managed to run from home, all the way up to mont Jalla (which is another 1.5km and 150m higher than the Bastille fort.) felt good and seeing as it was beginning to get dark, I called it a day and jogged the quick way down the steps and jumped on the tram getting me a total of 70k for the week on the nose.

see how I feel tomorrow. longest I have ran over a week since November 2017.

got the distance in my wee legs now - this week is starting to add intervals :D im super excited. this is the one I've waited for. Proper structured training again with a healthy body and mind. Allez les bleus.

loving it. slightly concerned at first, then Anaïs (another gal) arrived... phew. shout out to Hakon because all the orienteers knew you and I got lots of kudos for knowing you too. Sorry Alex, didn’t make the cut.

She’s added me into the Grenoble orienteering group chat. What a BNOC I am about to become. First training (what the French call PPG) tomorrow night at the athletics track.

along the Isere, to the lake and back. he said "shall we try and do a faster final km?" aye why not: 4.15.
