Run tempo 56:36 [4] 11.53 km (4:55 / km) +17m 4:52 / km

easy run out (5.8km at about 510s)

then "demie tour" and it's a progression run on the way back covering 4.2km. I started at 430s and managed to almost successfully knock off 10 seconds each km finishing at 4mins and the final bit at 350.

tired and super rainy. a bit tough but good to get going that quick!

3 x 800m split into 2 x 150 fast with 50m jog recovery for each lap.

managed to maintain my own pace - got dropped off the group but they were running 23/24...
short and sweet session - good fun.

*note: grenoble, in the city itself has lots of pollution and smog (compared to london maybe not much buuuuut) which really makes breathing on the track a bit tough.

wee morning one (havent got much time today so wanted to get this done before my law class at 10.) plus volleyball champs tonight hahaha.

felt alright - might have liked to go a bit faster but just didn't push myself. nice and chill(y) as well.

after a busy afternoon of 40/40 in with the little French kids I patched another run, too tired and besides, had our first volleyball tournament as a wee team. we didn't win among the 5 teams, but didn't lose either so all in all, not bad.

the coach took the warm up out tonight - clearly fancying a wee run himself. the pace started at 5.38 for the first km (nice and slow), then with numerous surges from the group of about 20 lads, we ended up running, 5min then 430 then 420 - warm up swiftly becoming a tempo...

keeping up, just about okay (got a bit dropped when they upped the pace to 415s but thats just inevitable.)

Managed to keep each rep under 4min/km which is positive. was hanging around the 3.50 mark which is my aim 5km pace. couldn't quite hold it that fast for the 5min interval but gave it a good go!

easy morning run round the park. nice flat and trying to get ma wee legs moving. managed it, just. first km was a toughie. fancied going out again for 5km or so tonight but nah. volleyball will suffice.

first competition is Wednesday night! made my team tonight and played some good games.
