Run 37:28 [3] 6.31 km (5:56 / km) +115m 5:27 / km

hilly and off road classic with Pippa and Alex round Blackford Hill. Am up in Scotland for a while sorting out doctors and other bits and bobs like that which need done up here and spending time with some good pals.

I could remember how to run today and kept up alright. Until it got a bit technical!

Lungs still fairly small in capacity and v sweaty for a December run but whatever. I’m really glad for the 2 weeks off actually.

Beaut view and killer wind. Back in Edi yay.

Run intervals 46:25 [5] 9.32 km (4:59 / km)

2.3km warm up jog to the river

1 x 2km
1 x 1km
3 x 600m

All round the nature reserve / riverside in Reading. So nice to be feeling a bit more with it. No pain in feet either which is class news.

Only pain was in my body and lungs as I felt sluggish and like I had forgotten how to run. Was hitting some decent paces but died a HUGE death on the last one with only 90s rec.

Note

right foot feeling much much much better after some serious getting rid of knots in my calf.

still no running for me though as I've lost my appetite and got a banging headache.

Run 29:00 [3] 5.52 km (5:15 / km) +10m 5:12 / km

easy jog back at home to try and get back into the swing of things.

not such a nice route along the A4 but thats classic Berkshire compared to the lovely mountains of the Rhone-Alpes.

Heart rate felt quite high and my lungs quite small. Had some serious stomach upsets last night in Geneva (sick in the middle of town.) Sorry for being an embarrassment Alex!

maybe shouldn't have gone for this run in the end
