So have just tried to enter the BMC in Oxford and basically I ain't fast enough. QT is 4.50, which I wouldn't have even been able to run 3 years ago in the 1500m PB era. Gonna be a shame if I have to be cheerleader when I've been putting in lots of work :( peak.

morning before the heat hits! decided to do my 'warm up' earlier before trying to run in 36 degree heat for any extended length of time.

up and down the home straight in the shade. extreme warm weather training camp out here.

Run intervals 32:59 [5] 4.65 km (7:06 / km)

5 x 300, 200 with one min between and 3-4 between reps

decent session, a bit quicker than 1500m pace and feeling alright under the blazing sun.

over and done with quick - nice.
