Weekend in the Lakes. Western fells loop.
I did the first 3hrs with Matt then he'd had enough and turned back so I pushed on a little for the last hour or so. A fair about on snow down so had to be cautious on the descents. I felt really good and was climbing strong.
The tops of both my feet felt quite bruised afterwards. I don't know if it's the shoes or something else.

I did this round the lanes on my own rather than with the club and they were doing a 'pub run' again. It felt good to be moving a bit quicker again. Calves slightly tight on the steepest climbs but otherwise no issues and I feel fully recovered from the weekend.

All things considered I'm feeling pretty good. I think it's the sleep that's done it. Slightly sluggish but no tightness anywhere. I could feel my foot a little more than usual but that's not a surprise.
