4 PM

Running (easy) 1:07:00 [2] 7.2 mi (9:18 / mi) +292m 8:16 / mi
slept:4.0 shoes: Speedgoat 4

I didn't even feel particularly tired after finishing work this morning. 2 nights is quite manageable. I had a (long) nap before going for a run. Around the woods. I should stop going on about how wet it is. 6 x strideouts were good.
30' in the sauna in the evening.

5 PM

Running (Easy) 1:03:00 [3] 7.3 mi (8:38 / mi) +217m 7:54 / mi
slept:6.0 shoes: Challenger ATR 5

All the fields are underwater (and a lot of the roads). I ran around the lanes. Heavy rain/ sleet. No issues. 6 x strideouts.

Wednesday Nov 13 #

Running (Moderate ) 2:01:34 [3] 17.2 mi (7:04 / mi) +475m 6:31 / mi
slept:9.5 shoes: Challenger ATR 5

Usual moderate route on the High Peak Trail. I’m feeling fresh again. Good run. Energy levels good throughout. These shoes are great for this sort of thing.
I swung by the gym on the way home for 25’ sauna.
I tried to nap in the afternoon but could quite nod off.

1 PM

Running (easy) 1:30:00 [2] 10.5 mi (8:34 / mi) +444m 7:35 / mi
slept:9.0 shoes: Challenger ATR 5

Very wet still, flooding everywhere so I did a hilly route around the lanes. I got a lift on the back of a tractor at one point through a particularly deep flood. My legs feel great after the massage yesterday. My feet are fine as well. I get the feeling all these Hoka shoes are going to feel very similar.
I went to work for a last minute 5hr evening shift for some extra pennies. Home by 10pm though.

Monday Nov 11 #

8 AM

Running (easy) 1:23:00 [2] 8.8 mi (9:26 / mi) +327m 8:27 / mi
slept:7.5 shoes: Speedgoat 4

Jog around the woods in the rain. Got the Speedgoats unrecognisably muddy. They quite nice for bimbling around in although I'm not sure I could run downhill well in them. My right foot was fine. My bruised left foot was also fine - a little sore at the beginning but I quickly forgot about it. My calves are quite tight - all the sand at the weekend perhaps? Booked a last minute massage for the afternoon.
I swung by the gym on the way home from the massage for 25' in the sauna

Sunday Nov 10 #

10 AM

Running (easy) 1:34:00 [2] 6.9 mi (13:37 / mi) +291m 12:03 / mi
slept:9.0 shoes: Salomon ultra 4

Really nice run in the sunshine with Matt around Worm's head. Very easy, some hiking, scrambling, dodging rock pools, photo stops etc. My right foot (Morton's neuroma thing) was a bit sore to start off but I couldn't feel it at all by the end. Legs a bit heavy but nothing particularly sore/tight.
I think I kicked a rock with the side of my left foot (it was so minor I don't remember the exact mechanism and it was fine for the rest of the run). By the evening though I had a bruise and it felt a bit sore walking around the house.
