2500s support - Wasdale to Buttermere
Steady. Although I occasionally had to push hard to catch up when I’d stopped to faff with food/layers etc. I felt quite sleepy and had a terrible headache by the end. I’m assuming it was the cold wind.
These shoes are absolutely the best fell shoe I’ve ever used. Wish they’d brought them out sooner

Usual type of route in the woods. An ok session but was struggling to find that extra gear on the climbs. I’ve been on antibiotics the last few days and they are making me feel ever so slightly nauseous, which I think is why the session wasn’t amazing.

I've had a bit of a dodgy stomach the last 24hrs and was expecting to feel a bit washed out today, but I actually felt really good. I ran for longer than planned as I was feeling good and had the time. Loop around the fields/ woods. 6 x strideouts

Really wet and windy today so I did an out and back on the canal where it's a bit more sheltered. There are some small hills getting from home to the canal, then it's flat. I felt fairly good until the last couple of miles when I got a stitch and had to back off a bit. Otherwise a good run.

I did this around Black Rocks (a short drive away) for a change of scenery. Some on the High Peak Trail, some on slightly more technical stuff. I wouldn't say I felt amazing, but it was certainly the best I've felt in the last couple of weeks.

My hamstrings felt better when doing the warm up exercises so set off on a moderate route. Kept the first few miles easy then sped up a bit, but still was at the easier end of moderate. My hamstrings were a little tight when I set off but loosened up a fair bit. Mainly on the road with a few miles of good trail. Some bits felt fairly good.
