Run ("Recovery") 26:44 [2] 4.0 km (6:41 / km)
shoes: INOV 8 X-Talon 217

I didn't know that recovery runs without warming up and stretching before the run existed! It seems like they do now. I did a slow run in the "Stormy" weather, seems like Blair isn't doing any topography or meteorology in Swan View as the weather was vastly different to stormy weather, aka 35+ degree heat without a sea breeze. I'd like to see the kiwis run in that heat!

I have been stalking South Australia's tricks on how they're so good now when they were horrible like us for the past 20 years with only 1 or 2 freakishly elite talent developing in over 10 years, being Simon Uppill and Henry McNulty (I'm his no.1 Fan!). They not only host training with Australia's best professional Orienteers, they allow for trail runs which you dan D.I.Y! They have a 7.0km circuit where the junior & southern arrows train a long distance circuit to see who has the best times.
I'm currently trying to simulate something just like this circuit if us juniors want to do more training than normal state team coaching.

Just wondering, why do we have to bloody pay for a map to upload our runs on to Garmin express?
My knee is better now

Run 19:34 [3] 3.0 km (6:31 / km)
(injured) shoes: INOV 8 X-Talon 217

Had to wear the knee brace today, unfortunately, I had a very slow run rate because my knees are in agony. One week its the patella, another week is my meniscus that hurts, then ACL, LCL, PCL, MCL, etc. summarising the whole thing, my knees are always hurting in one ligament or joint and it's preventing me to doing much exercise

Orienteering (Training with Rob n Lois) 23:38 [4] 3.35 km (7:03 / km)
(injured) shoes: INOV 8 X-Talon 217

First training back with Rob n Lois, we had a 650m uphill warmup to the start of the course at nan Macmillan Reserve. I had a pretty good run, although I used a knee brace for the first time while running and it worked a treat! I beat Lily and mum by 2 minutes, surprisingly as in my last training log, I babbled about how bad my knees were hurting (and I wore a hat!). We had a cooldown jog for about 900m back to Rob and Lois' house to stretch and drive back home.
