Was really happy with this race and the the results of the effort I put in. Felt like I really pushed myself to stick with the group which paid off nicely. Need to learn to implement this same mindset of sticking with he group for the 3k this next weekend. There's a fine line I still need some practice in finding in regards to fighting for a position at the start of the race. That will come with practice and experience so for now I'm focusing on pushing myself into being uncomfortable and pushing through.

Was pretty happy with the effort on this race. Should have pushed myself harder in the middle-end to stick with Jeff and the rest of the group. There's no reason I can't push through and get into the 9min time because I know physically I can do that. Although that was the goal for this race and I didn't reach it, I'm still happy with the experience but looking forward to making the jump to the 9s.

Dressed up nice a warm and did the workout outside. R hip came around a but during active but still pretty sore. Spent some good time stretching the legs.

R hip and knee were still really sore for the workout but didn't effect the running too much. Found the elliptical to be very tiring on the muscles. Need to make sure to be doing the extra work outside of practice to keep injuries down and muscles loose.

This workout wasn't the strongest it could have been. Felt tired but tried to stay focused and keep strong. Found the repeated long exercises mentally challenging. R hip and knee were sore from the Monday's workout. Working to get this sorted out with Jo>

COLD. Was not dressed warm enough around my face.

Decent run this morning. Feeling stiff and my knee and hip were relentless today. Happy with the effort getting back to steady level. Went too easy on the first set so stepped it up for the last 3.

Appointment with Jo again today and Thursday.

Felt pretty exhausted before the run. Knee and hip were aching (hip got a bit better in the middle). I think I was running at a bit of slower pace than a typical sunday but happy and was able to get the whole time in.
