Des’ training at Urambi. Nice cos I knew where I was going and had people to run with this time. Did one big and one small but started way too fast trying to keep up with Olivia but dropped back and ran the second half with Tara.

Des’ training at the track. Speedy sesh today: 2 x (4 x 300m made up of 100 fast (1500 pace), 100 slow, 100 extra fast (800 pace)) on 3min cycles with 3ish mins between sets. Good fun!

Twilight O at Farrer Ridge. Took it sorta easy so wasn’t running fast but still managed to make quite a few mistakes. Really wasn’t concentrating at all so lucky it wasn’t somewhere more technical.

Des’ training at the Woden track. Session was 3 x (500 at 5k pace, 300 at 1500 pace, 200 at 800 pace). 500m was on 4min cycle and other ones were on 2min cycle with a 3min break between sets. Was very wet but the splashing from the puddles was worse than the rain (at least it wasn’t roasting hot so a nice change). Was tough but lots of fun :)

Last Sprint Canberra event - ANU South. Had to run late so it was super hot but otherwise felt good, pushed hard, looked ahead and didn’t get caught in any traps. Slowed down/struggled a bit in #16-20 tho.
