Ran on an out and back route along a straight road with undulations. Was feeling good initially and things were going to plan but had to ease up at mile 9 and run the last mile as easy as I was too tired to continue at the pace I ran for mile 8 and 9. Mile 10 also ended up being uphill. Splits for the 9 mile progression were 7:50, 7:42, 7:38, 7:28, 7:20, 7:12, 7:01, 6:51 & 6:52 (mile 9 was also uphill).
Legs are feeling sore tonight - I may take a total rest day tomorrow as I feel that the last couple of weeks training in the hot weather combined with a lack of sleep has taken a bit of a toll. This past week has also been one of my highest mileage weeks ever.
