Another early start and another night of not enough sleep! Ran with my brother in law. Couldn’t do the proposed 3 hrs due to family commitments. Was quite surprised how good I felt on this run particularly as it was quite hilly and also the early start. Was a bit tired on the last few miles but felt really good for the most part.

Feel like it’s not been a great week in terms of training.

Cannon Hill parkrun. Early start due to my brother in law picking me up at 7am to head for coffee before going to the parkrun. Hadn’t really slept all night in any case. Parkrun went ok and felt good on the first and second miles although I tired on the last mile and slowed a bit.

Easy run around the playing fields. Felt good on a nice night for it (a bit cooler)

Followed the session as planned after the warmup. Initially had to have a doze in the car after work before running as still feeling very tired. Once I got going in the run I was fine though and the fartlek went well. Pace was roughly 6 to 6:10 mm for the harder 3 mins and 7:10mm for the rolling portion. Good session.
