Over in Liverpool for the football. Got changed as soon as I got to the hotel and ran out and back along the Mersey

Did the 20 min warm up then 3 x 5 mins at 10% incline @ 9mm. Tough but good. Felt like I’d had enough on the third one but my legs felt great when I put the incline back down so did another 2 x 5 mins steady during the final 20 mins

Easy treadmill (working again after I reconnected a loose wire). Late one after getting home from London and putting the kids to bed. Felt ok but still something seems a bit “off”

Easy run - didn’t feel that great, felt laboured even though the pace was easy

12 x 400m (approx) off 1 min rest. Includes warmup and cooldown runs (approx 2 miles each). Felt good and was glad to run with a group on what was a freezing cold, wet and windy evening. Did the same session a couple of weeks ago and felt noticeably stronger this time round.

Tried treadmill again - still not working. Not keen to go outside in storm Brendan so booked in for a massage instead. Didn’t particularly feel like running after yesterday in any case - think the rest day and massage will do me good
