A big loop around very quiet main roads from home. Tough run. Feeling pretty tired from the start and then faced the last 6 miles into a strong cold headwind which was hard going. Legs also feeling a bit stiff although this could be to do with the quantum of gardening and football I have been playing in the back garden!

20 min warmup followed by 5 hill reps of 5 mins at 10% incline off 4 mins. Approx 15 mins cooldown. Kept these a little easier than previous (9:30 pace) but the last two were still fairly tough

Easy run on country roads on a nice day, feeling fine. I’m now working from home full time for the foreseeable future so can get out at lunchtimes from time to time

8 x 3 mins plus warmup and cool down. Found this quite tough
