Running tempo 22:17 [4] 5.0 km (4:27 / km)

Warm morning, worried about buttock and feet but once got going after about 0.5Km didn't notice them and eased off when got odd twinges elsewhere. Enjoyed it when I could push it. Great run considering.

Orienteering 43:00 [0] 3.0 km (14:20 / km)

Walked the 'Our North is the South map' after buttock hurt in first few steps; eventually found the 1:4000 scale and upside down grid lines. Did quite well in spotting the pieces of paper with quiz questions. Tried new bi-focals and will get used to them. Good for seeing the map!

Orienteering 20:00 [1] 2.0 mi (10:00 / mi)

Began walking but ended up jogging the Veale Park map. Didn't notice the scale but looked more at relative placement of things rather than bearing and distance. (Was 1:2500 so maybe that is why placement seemed more helpful!). Left toe swollen at end and throbbed (probably too long on feet with the standing about!) but was hopeful that buttock eased enough to jog slowly without problems.

Walk/Jog 1:00:00 [2] 8.0 km (7:30 / km)

Morning movement involved walking up the hill, 20 steps jog, then walk again because right buttock area felt so stiff (wonder if it's the SI joint thing causing trigger points?) but once the ground flattened out I jogged more consistently and right groin/buttock/hip area held up well, in fact some aching eased (as might be expected if it's the soft tissue arthritis thing at the tendon attachments). Right foot was also ok jogging but aches when stand on it barefoot. Left hammy was behaving today!

REST 1 [0] 10.0 km ( / km)

Rest... (well you know a gentle 5Km walk in the morning, repeated in the evening when everyone else went to night-O!...)

Running 30:00 [3] 4.0 mi (7:30 / mi)

Morning movement included twice up long hill (for old times sake to see how slow I've got!). Left Hammy bugged me enough to stop, along with the thing going on in right outer buttock; and right sole of foot.

Walk/Jog 1:00:00 [3] 4.0 mi (15:00 / mi)

Jogged for about 15 minutes heading up Hogans Climb, then walked. L hammy still bothering me (surprise, surprise) but buttock and sole of foot quieter. Nice walk back. 5 Koalas.

Running 1:00:00 [3] 10.0 km (6:00 / km)

Longest run in ages. . Ran harder towards end, including 2 attempts at a new Strava segment with hill! Felt unfit. General aches not too bad today but sad they might be here to stay as some form of arthritis. GP review in 6 weeks for swollen toes!

Cycling 1:55:00 [1] 35.0 km (3:17 / km)

Nice relaxing cycle; was careful with knees and wrist, the most cranky things today.
