Running 21:40 [3] 5.0 km (4:20 / km)

What a different day! Nothing hurt in the legs or feet and managed a good satisfying run. Seem to be able to hold desired pace for about 40 seconds then fades! Toes a little stiff/swollen afterwards (saw podiatrist) but on the whole feet are doing better than they have been.

REST 1 [0]

Absolutely exhausted after interrupted night's sleep, coming down with something flu-like, body aching as usual and generally washed out. Don't even WANT to do anything but later in day went for easy 4km walk at Cobbler Creek when everyone else was running about a carpark in the city.

Running 30:00 [3] 6.0 km (5:00 / km)

Right buttock really cranky/sharp pains just walking about but ran anyway. Not so bad actually running but odd twinges elsewhere that came and went. Ended up playing with cadence and stride length ... increasing cadence increases heart rate most! Scope to vary both for optimal pace!

Running 40:00 [3] 6.0 km (6:40 / km)

Tried the soft grass of oval again but hit there at recess (was mistaken for a kid and asked to come over at the bell! But shook my head and crossed my arms to indicate I was an adult; it worked and the teacher lost interest in calling me over).

Did 1km gentle jog, 4 x 50m strides, then 2x360m @ 4:20 pace, followed by 6 x 200m gentle hill ascents once I realized feet were ok on the gravel path. These were much slower at about 4:45 pace.

Walked home and felt a bit sore in the right buttock/groin and right foot, but eased after lunch.

Running 30:00 [4] 5.0 km (6:00 / km)

6 x 450ish on lovely grass (all under 2min). Buttock hurt and feet but no so much in movement.

Running 30:00 [2] 5.0 km (6:00 / km)

Comfortable jog, on flat at Morialta, increased pace a little on way down from falls but not flat out. On the whole everything better for movement... (must be arthritis, not overuse!)

Running 1:08:00 [2] 10.0 km (6:48 / km)

Windy jog with bad leg/buttock that felt better after 2 laps of snakepit (slowest laps EVER!). Probably to be expected and at least I was out today. Left toe hurt afterwards but less swollen overall I think.

Walk/Jog 45:00 [1] 6.0 km (7:30 / km)

Hot day, right buttock/hamstring/groin thing still tight with odd sharp pains in glute, so tried gentle walk/jog.
