Set out with slight left hamstring burning sensation, which remained same during and after. At finishing time, no left cartilage issues, but if they do arise, its usually a few hours after running.
By end of day, cartilage not a problem.

Fairly gentle jog. Tried to just ignore the pace, run naturally, but possibly went a bit too fast because of that. At 2 miles, slight pinching sensation from left cartilage, which at time of finishing, remains so.
After about 3 hours, left knee cartilage became progressively more painful. Woke up at night with it, and following day, remains painful.

Gentle 1st run after a week of strictly no running or biking - total week off. At time of finishing, no issues, just the usual right knee feeling slightly "kicked". Importantly, left knee has no issues, however, these in the past have developed in an hour or three.
After 6 hours, no issues. Therefore, plan is to take tomorrow off, then run following day.
