Long run from home into centennial
Took a strong coffee to get me out the door. Felt great after getting into the trails.
Picked up the pace the last 2 miles. Tried to keep my breathing under control and use my arms.

Swam at Boulevard. Wavy, and the sun was on the horizon. Challenging to landmark. Going with the sun behind me I did not have to look to keep a straight line. I just kept the sun in the same spot behind on one side.

Pre rode course and race
Pre rode course 1.5 times just before race.
Greasy! Tried to take it easy and hammer climbs. Bike slid out at bottom of a climb despite caution on grand chasm. Half got leg out and then was in wrong gear. Jumped off and ran.
