Early morning activation at the pool followed by foundation routine. Feeling energetic. Looking forward to a long run after this swim meet.

Long run

2 college loops and a side trip in mash potatoes to the Mac. Plaza.

Felt strong today. Ran with daisy the first loop. A little annoying as we both stopped for bio breaks. Kept the pace in check until the last 25 minutes. Allowed myself to roll the last 25. Found the right gear and finished strong and relaxed.

Workout at Boulevard

1 loop of 3:30 steady 30 sec hard
1 loop easy

Solid workout. Felt good on the warm up lap. First couple sets went by with good recoveries. After the fourth surge jumping back into steady felt like a chore. Luckily Kip and I worked together to maintain the pace. I found myself struggling to catch my breath. I tried to relax and take deep breaths. This seemed to help. After the fifth surge everything was burning. Kept my head up and pushed to the finish.
