Long run

Followed the hydro lines into Shuniah Mines. Twisted along Grand Chasm, Dagobah and BMX. Then back the same route. Fat bike trails are pretty fun!

Sluggish to start but loosened up Later in the run. Finished the last 20 wi more effort. Felt great coming down hill on valley and John home.

Extra hot tonight! Excellent mental training. I have not ran in the heat in a long time. Started easy and gradually rolled faster. Felt light and springy on the track with just shorts and a t. Focused on pulling my knee up higher than usual. Felt good.

Legs and toes cramping throughout the workout. Did not drink enough today teaching at the hill. An hour of sweating on the track did not help. Need to fit this routine in more regularly.

Wo: (4 streets up and down finishing at the top of Dufferin (banning) 2 min. Rest) x 3

Felt decent going into the warm up. Started the first set continuing to feel good. Focused on breathing when the burn settled in. Ran with some hesitation on the way down. Toughest at the top maintaining a solid pace on the flats.

At the end of the second set my mind got the best of me as I started to question the number of sets. I started to pace for a fourth set near the top when it got tough.

Worked through the third set with a heavy burn and a focus on breathe.

Solid workout.

Snowshoed into Nolan Lake for some fishing.

RTV tracks are difficult to follow when pulling a pulk!
