Note

Went for a hike/scramble up Birkhouse Moor-Striding Edge-Hellvelyn-White Side then back down Glenridding Common. 5 hrs, ~14km, 980m ascent and what must have been in excess of 50mph winds on the tops!!

Haverthwaite Heights Orienteering race. DQd on the last control. How on Earth do you that?! 100% technical issue as I definitely punched it... It's a kick in the bollocks, but everyone does it. Chin up for next weekend BUCS

Orienteering training. Felt better and more confident with my nav, only mistake was diverging from my planned route.
Legs spent so going climbing this afternoon and chilling to recover before tomorrow's race!

Orienteering training in the Lakes! A couple of mistakes, a couple of poor route choices, one bearing problem (2 attempts, still not sure whether I got it right) and a shit tonne of climb!

Orienteering training 2 in the Lakes. A massive mistake due to being dragged downhill by a stream then getting confused because of it. Tired/slow from a tough session in the morning and a shoddy night's sleep in a hostel.
