BUCS relay, ShUOC 2nd team, 3rd leg.
Tired after ydays race, a month of racing and illness creeping in.
Didn't lose myself, but lost my voice! Overshot a few controls, dodgy bearing to another. Apart from that, slow and steady, lots of hills which drained my already limited energy.

Happy with my nav after the last 3 weeks of bad luck/ frustration. Admittedly helped by training a couple of people, but kept in contact with the map the majority of the time.
One major 5+ min mistake going to no. 8, where I decided to follow a fast Edinburgh guy (apparently Jack Leitch, not met him) instead of trying to catch up with Joe Goodwin. In doing so lost contact with the map and made a 45 degree error, costing me dearly. Lessons learned, but feeling positive ahead of JK.

Taken last few days off to keep injuries at bay/ been really busy. Achilles and shins feeling sore. Hopefully they'll be OK

Jogging intervals at approx 5min/km pace. Legs knackered after ydays race and saving myself for BUCS/ trying not to get injured.

Commute to EIS, WU and CD for Varsity 3k

shoes: Asics Patiot 8

Varsity 3k. No idea how to pace it, so sat 20-30m behind Sam and Connor, then last 300-400m put my foot down and overtook both of them to finish 4th from last. Not bad considering first time on track, indoors and running a 3k race.
Felt dead all day, exhausted from my Lakes trip exercise and driving. Rested all day, so not sure if my head was in the right place. Could have probably gained 10-15sec if so, but no point whinging, I'm happy.
