S&C workout 30:00 [3]

1 PM

running (easy plus strides) 30:00 [2] 6.0 km (5:00 / km) +50m 4:48 / km
slept:7.0

30' easy plus strides. Usual work fuck-ups meant I had to do on-call duty on Sat not Sun night, so had to swap sessions... and also didn't have my watch so all the numbers here are approximate... feeling good though!

Friday Sep 28, 2018 #

bike/turbo 1:00:00 [3]

...felt recovered enough for an easy 60' on the turbo too.
2 PM

running (easy) 38:47 [2] 7.09 km (5:28 / km) +244m 4:40 / km
slept:9.0

30-40' easy Feeling much improved, and legs felt much better today.

running (easy) 32:02 [2] 5.74 km (5:35 / km) +109m 5:06 / km
slept:8.0

30' easy. Still feeling a bit ropey, but the aches/shivering had stopped to did an easy half hour...

Note
(sick)

Cold getting worse!

6 PM

running hills (3min hill reps) 18:27 [3] 3.02 km (6:07 / km)
slept:7.0 (sick)

15' easy, 6x 3min hill reps, 15' easy... ABORTED. After suspecting I was getting some bug yesterday, today sealed the deal. Felt bad on the warm up and bailed after an attempt at a hill rep! After not being ill for at least a year, it's annoying to get some kind of lurgy twice in six weeks!

Monday Sep 24, 2018 #

6 PM

running (easy plus hill sprints) 1:03:56 [3] 10.9 km (5:52 / km) +394m 4:58 / km
slept:7.0

60' easy plus hill sprints. Feeling the onset of some cold-type bug: legs heavy and hill sprints felt hard work...
