40' Easy round Claggan Park on the grass.

First shorts and t-shirt run of the year; very mild and really nice morning to be running. The football pitch was quite firm underfoot for once, so the going felt pretty good.

Had iced the foot last night, and rolled it for ten or fifteen mins this morning, which produced a couple of twinges, but nothing overly painful...

For the duration, the foot felt totally normal, and that buoyed my mood significantly, so for the whole run I felt really good, even if I did feel a little off the pace, which is to be expected. Ended up probably running a bit quickly at points, but that was more a result of enthusiasm from the lack of foot-discomfort.

Actually really enjoyed running laps of the park too...!

Since I've been running less, and as it doesn't affect the foot at all, pushed a bit harder for the hour than in previous easy turbo sessions, and felt pretty good throughout, even though a moderate effort on the turbo always feels pretty exhausting, presumably due to my novice level bike experience!

jogged round the park for 10, foot felt as yesterday, or a little better, so carried on for another 10, with no increase in discomfort, though the minimal discomfort was still there as per yesterday.
