Saturday Jun 15 #

2 PM

bike/turbo 30:00 [2]

30' easy spinning on the bike, plus sauna.

As long as the leg/hip feels okay tomorrow, might up the time on the bike again...

Probably now my longest enforced period of not running for several years...!

Friday Jun 14 #

4 PM

bike/turbo 30:00 [2]

Upped it to 30' easy spinning on the bike, plus sauna.

Hip feels much the same, but the bike doesn't seem to be causing any issues, so may try upping the duration over the next few days.

Thursday Jun 13 #

5 PM

bike/turbo 20:00 [2]

Another 20' easy spin on the bike, plus sauna.

Leg/hip feels much the same, still not much movement/inability to bend forward at the waist, which I can feel is impeded on my right side...

Have chiropractic appointment booked for Tues.

Wednesday Jun 12 #

4 PM

bike/turbo 20:00 [2]

20 very easy spinning, then sauna.

Seems much the same as yesterday. Off work till next Tues as it stands, and will try and get a chiropractor sorted.

Tuesday Jun 11 #

4 PM

bike/turbo 20:00 [2]

20' very easy spinning on the bike once again. Range of movement in the hip on my right side had felt better this morning so gave the bike another try... Felt okay during, and had a sauna after.

Seems to be small gains in mobility again on my right side, and nerve pain is diminished again.

Monday Jun 10 #

Note
(injured)

Right hip/leg stiffer again this morning, and sciatic pain has returned a bit, so eschewed the bike and had an easy swim and sauna at the pool, in an attempt to keep the joint moving but with as little stress as possible...

Sunday Jun 9 #

3 PM

bike/turbo 20:00 [2]

20' very easy spinning on the bike. Right side still a bit stiff, but didn't seem to suffer for the effort. Will assess again in the morning and if it doesn't seem to have done any harm will go again.
