Saturday Nov 9 #

3 PM

bike/turbo 1:00:00 [3]
slept:10.0

60' spinning on the turbo

Another successful pain free session; back feels almost completely back to where it was before this flare up, save the occasional sciatic twitch, though none of that while cycling which is good. Itching to get back running now but will wait till I see the chiropractor...

Friday Nov 8 #

6 PM

bike/turbo (easy spinning) 1:00:00 [2]
slept:8.5

60' watt bike

An hour of easy- ish effort on the watt bike in the gym with no ill effects! effort level felt good, and seemingly no issues with the back, so all good!

Thursday Nov 7 #

Note
(injured)

Another much improved day! Lower back stiffness is gone and sciatica is also much reduced and back to being sporadic.

Wednesday Nov 6 #

Note
(injured)

Back feeling much improved today, and managed to be much more active, though tentatively of course. Sleep a bit disrupted by nerve pain though, and will try and get to see my GP for some more amitriptyline if that persists. Overall though feeling much better than Sun/Mon, so quite hopeful!

Tuesday Nov 5 #

Note
(injured)

Day off; back feeling a bit improved. Physio in Fort Bill thinks pretty obviously that I have aggravated the disc again

Tried a session of acupuncture, which seemed to relieve the lower back tightness somewhat. Agreed with my seeing the chiropractor, and otherwise just suggested getting back to S&C exercises once the pain has subsided more

Monday Nov 4 #

Note
(injured)

another day off with the back; physio tuesday and chiropractic appt a week today

Sunday Nov 3 #

Note
(injured)

day of inactivity with the back having shit itself...
