Costa Cálida - Larga DNF

Don't think I made the good routechoice to #2, should have gone north by the river and round the mountain. Should practice this a bit more :)

Found Lucy injured with Maria Soriano and Alba, stayed there to help and then decided to retire and go back with Maria to the finish to let the organisation know they had to pick Lucy and Alba back. We went to 3-4-5, then hesitated in contiuing with the course but then decided to go to 16, as there was a water point and organisation would be able to call/go pick them up. Continued the race till finish after that only to know there were quite a lot of DNF also for the ME course, tough course I see.

Sad to give up but more training days to come :)

Costa Calida - Middle

Fun all around, think I lacked a bit of 'agresividad' at some points of the forest and then wanted to do a faster end and made some not so good bearings on the last controls. Some hesitations in general but getting more confident when navigating.

- too south for #1, bad bearing + letting myself go with other people
- #2 after the course thought the electric line would have been better route, but the other girls went straighish as me, so mayb should have run more confident
- got distracted by Amanda while shw coming from #6 and me going to #4, completely lost my focus and stood there confused as she called me when she saw me, damn it! :o
- #7 was going ok, but when I passed by the knoll I think I should have gone straight easter instead of arriving to the crags which I found confusing for later find the control..
- #8 read wrongly the river/"hill", should have checked the compass as went completely off direction
- #14, bad compass and arriving to the wrong control
- #16 bad compass and seeing a track apparently it wasn't on the map

Note: Keep working on my bearings.

Costa Calida - Sprint

Brutal: hilly and tricky. Enjoyed the course but definitely not a good performance, some hesitations, some bad route choices and not being very fast all around.

Note: practice tricky route choice training, also even if not running training.

Model event, very chill. Contours are very clear, use them for navigating, then crags on rivers and the rivers themselves are very obvious, too.

Sun-O training - Coto Cuadros

Good nav training, enjoyed and felt confident all over the map. Started with some Norwegians but my rhythm faded a bit half way, was fun :)

- parallel error on 9
- bad attack to #12 as saw the kite and went straight t #13 instead.
- Bad exit to the finish too. AnaTo caught me back at this one (after punching 16 before as she went a bit more souther) and think I didn’t think properly my route to the finish
