Note
(rest day)

I'm going to take it easier or cross-train for the next couple of days until my hip hates me a little less. Yesterday was a lot of fun, but it wasn't conducive to healing/ staying uninjured

Orienteering 2:27:40 [4] 16.72 km (8:50 / km) +185m 8:22 / km

Susquehanna Stumble; 14km course, 10:33 min/km

Route Gadget

Overall, a fun, fairly clean run
Mistakes/Bad Route Choices:
6) I wimped out and thought the green was worse than it was so I went too far around. I started the leg with Angelica and finished it 20 or so meters behind her, so I definitely lost some time there
8) Took the road instead of the woods which was apparently the wrong choice. Also, this road run is what aggravated my hip, so I started watching it starting here
16) Not a mistake, but it was slower because I decided to let Angelica's pack go and change my game plan from, do well, to, complete it cleanly. I also took the trail in the beginning so I didn't charge blindly into the forest, still in following mode
23) Started getting sloppy because Peggy had caught me and then (my recurring problem) I wasn't confident enough in my plan so I changed it halfway to do what everyone was doing, losing some time
U (from T): Hit it dead on, but probably shouldn't have swung so wide
Q (from S): Exited wrong and started to check the wrong reentrant
41) Honestly, I didn't have a plan and it shows. I just went in the right direction and made it up as I went along. I ended up climbing the bank too quickly and wasted too much time checking the wrong area before I (actually Victor) realized what I'd done

Order of windows:
1) A, B, C, D, E
2) G, H, I, J, F
3) L, M, P, K, O, N
4) R, T, U, S, Q
5) Y, X, Z, W, V

Hip and knee survived, they flared going to 8, so I slowed down a tad until they felt better. All things considered, they could've been a lot worse

Note
(rest day)

Woke up with a lot of hip pain so I decided that as I'm doing the Stumble tomorrow, I should just take it easy and stretch

Running 34:49 [3] 4.02 mi (8:40 / mi) +26m 8:29 / mi

As I was running through this mini neighborhood park, this little kid, probably 7 or 8, started yelling encouragement to me and I was so touched. It was so cute
