The sickness affected the orienteering :(
It was fairly navigationally challenging terrain and my brain was very foggy. I had a hard time reading the 1:15,000 map unless stopped and I really struggled to focus, and when I ran I kept tripping on everything. Basically what I imagine orienteering mildly drunk would be like. It was interesting.
My giant mistakes were saved from being hours long by the kindness of strangers. At one point, a girl younger than me approached me and asked me in English if I needed help, if that says anything.
The goal turned from being "be better than Tuesday" to "finish in under 2 hrs", and hey, I found all the controls and accomplished my second goal, so imma call it a success. A little sad bc it feels like a waste bc I don't have much time in this beautiful terrain, but hey, we move forward.
