Set off near the front with a group of about 7. At the top of the first climb a lady was pointing to the corner of a field. We all followed after about 5’ we’d done a complete circle and was back where we started so had to run through the back of the pack.
Was going fine till about mile 19. Id eaten well drink plenty. But I had nothing in me. It’s strange this keeps happening but I don’t know why was defiantly physical and not mental I wanted to push on but nothing there, was a horrible feeling that I couldn’t shift. To sum up ran this course 6 years ago and did a 5.40. Training has gone really well recently and yet I’m nearly an hour slower.
