Took the bike out on the local roads today for its first outing this year. The roads are pretty poor from a harsh winter.

My hamstrings seemed heavy today but seemed to ride well today although my bike craft isn’t great and needs some work over the summer.

Stretched and foam rolled after today’s aessions and the legs seem fine now.

Having had a full nights sleep felt much more refreshed gaining into todays run.

decided to run from the gym so that i could piggy back the strength session onto the run. Felt nice and comfortable the legs didn't feel tired and were relaxed. Todays run was quite hot but the heat didn't feel uncomfortable.

Stretched post run and feel bit tight in the right flute but no concerns and seemed to release with stretching.

Got back at 3am and had an early start this morning. Feeling ok but defiantly an early night tonight.

The run felt good and controlled no issues. Stretched off and the legs feel good.

Easy 60’
Has a poor nice sleep after some noisy guests.
Otherwise....
Easy run into Santa Cruz with a fellow runner at the hotel. Tried to keep the pace nice and light and just try to enjoy the surroundings. Quads felt a bit heavy but not tight and I think the run did my legs good. Was nice to get moving and back into the routine.

Had a stretch bit tight in my left glute but not an issue as released fairly well after some gentle stretching.
