Set off wanting to alternate direction every 10’ however somehow chose the only xt that could only go in one direction. Otherwise felt good and into a nice rythym was going to do 45’ on the xt and 45’ in the bike but by the time it came to swap over was feeling good and just decided to carry on. Last 30’ dragged a bit but was listening to a podcast and just tried to zone out a little. Still feeling the glute but no pain on the xt.

Moderate effort alternating every 10’

Feeling ok and legs feeling fresh. Could feel the glute but the session didn’t aggravate the area. Struggled to get the heart rate up and took the first 10’ to get into the swing of things.

Bike 60’

Tried to run on the glute but gave up after 1’ due to pain and also was limping on that side. Tore my glute min a few years ago but this feels deep and more medial. Ended up doing a bike session instead alternating between sitting and standing every 5’. Legs felt fine and didn’t feel the glute on the bike.

Alternated the direction every 5’

Glute feeling improved more a dull ache tonight but no pain. The tightness has gone too. Legs feel fresh and well recovered just want to see the back of this glute issue and get back to training proper.

Used the bike session as a commute today as the weather was good and up early. The legs felt fairly fresh and into a nice rythym. Overall felt easy.

Set back to home knew I could stretch the ride out a bit as I had no time constraints. Nice weather but big headwind for the first part of the ride. That said the legs felt ok and not too tired. Overall felt fairly good.

Warm up as per plan. Ran along the towpath. Have had a poor nights sleep and got cramp during the night in my shins however legs felt fairly good. Still a bit tight on the glute but much improved. Post run stretch felt fine.
