30’ turbo

It seemed silly to get on the bike for only 20’ so up it to 30’. Legs felt fresh.

40’ easy run
straight out into the rain was lashing it down and windy. But I don’t care I’m just enjoying being out and able to run. Couple of times got a bit of a head wind but also couple of times got a tail wind. Last 10’ did feel a little more of a slog but happy overall.

Did this one with a work colleague whose just started running for Manchester 1/2m. We set off I told him to set a pace and I would run to his pace and immediately could tell he’d set off too quick. Thought to myself do I tell him to slow then the sadistic part of my mind thought no this is a lesson he needs to learn on his own. Predictably we slowed off considerably after the first mile. Felt good to be moving and nice to chat whilst out tonight.

Felt good on the bike. The bike and XT sessions seem more tedious now that I’ve started to come back to running. But was fine and legs felt good too.

30’ easy run

Weather was blustery tonight not cold but very windy. Because I’d done the bike beforehand felt warm when I started to run so was able to get into the swing of it fairly quick. For most of the run had a side wind last mile was full headwind. In the headwind felt like a cartoon character where the arms and legs are moving but your not actually going forward. But felt good and moving well. Enjoyed tonight’s run.

Was heaving in the gym tonight and struggled to initially get a XT machine so part warmed up on the bike until one came free. Felt tough tonight once going like I had to push that little harder. Just seem to be a tad fatigued.

Procrastinated for most of the day but decided thar I just had to get on with it. Once on the bike felt good legs felt fine.

30’ easy run

The weather was predictably poor this morning wet and very windy. Although the weather was bad I was happy to be out and felt good too. Got about 10’ in and the road was knee deep in flood water for about 100m so came back on myself. Overall felt good with loads of energy.
