After trying to get on to swirral edge o went over to striding edge to see whether that was any better. It wasn’t so descended back to glynridding.

Ran up toward helvellyn the plan was to try and scramble over swirral edge. The run up felt tough on the steep sections but moving well on the gradual climbs. I feel like my heart and lungs are fine but I just can’t seem to get the legs to move and then the quads seem to tier. As I climbed the wind got windier and once I started the ascent of swirral edge I knew it would be a mistake there’s still some snow and with the wind I was too exposed. Decided to respect the mountain and called it a day there. Stuck some pants and a jacket on and started the hike.

60' easy with diagonals

Setting off in good weather felt nice and legs felt good too. Ran on the trail at the back of the zoo. Got to the pitch and diaganols seemed harder than I remember or anticipated. Felt good to move the legs a little faster though. Diaganols felt relatively good the legs turns over nicely. After diaganols fell back into a nice rythym and no real fatigue.

Legs feeling good able to push during the efforts. Feeling good with no fatigue from yesterda us run and feeling fairl fresh.

Ran over Nicky nook. A lot more successful tonight with the head torch (no falls) ironic that with the clocks changing, next week this one will be done in daylight. Didn't see another person out during the entire run. I actually enjoyed the loneliness felt good just zoned into the run and the trail.

Felt good from the start and thought that the legs maybe be more tiered from the S&C this AM. Overall the legs felt quite fresh even in the sticky mud. Took the decent off Nicky nook mega easy. On the climb felt a tad bit better than usual however still just got to keep working on my fitness. Keep comparing my fitness to 8 weeks ago where I was running 10' every other day so I think progress has certainly been made.

Set off and the first 10’ the hip flexors were a bit tight but after that relaxed off and got into a good rythym. Bit windy tonight but during the run had a mix of both head and tail wind so sort of evened out over the run. Legs generally seemed fine not fresh but neither sluggish or tiered.

Strideouts felt good the 4th one felt really good.

Felt ok but mentally fatigued today from getting up early and a full day at work. Legs felt fine. Quads a tad heavy.

Probably should have tried to get a little more climbing in and a little higher. Went from Ambleside to rydal over to grassmere and then back round to Ambleside over the cofin route.

Was good to be out felt fresh no fatigue weather was very changeable through out.
