Weather much better today and the best it’s been for a few days. Started really easy and paid little attention to pace just concentrated on feeling good and getting into a rythym. I then just picked the effort up when I felt ready too. Overall the run felt comfortable I never really felt out of control. I felt good through out and on the last couple of km I picked it up and pushed on a little faster than I probably should have but I still felt good. Was really nice to get some longer running in. Was pleased with the session.

Ran laps of a route on the local lanes. Weather has been poor all day long and glad we didn’t camp last night. Ran the first lap with Anna. Felt fine not superb but moving fine legs felt fairly energetic. Not eaten great today but I think it didn’t affect me too much moving at a slower pace. The second lap felt ok but heavy legged moving slightly faster. Was dry for a change on the second lap.

Strides felt decent and moving ok felt strong too.

We were going to camp at wasdale head but the weather was so poor today we came home. So ran on the local lanes in shockingly poor weather. Ran easy but felt sluggish for the most part. Just struggled to find a rythym not helped by the wind. Quads felt heavy and sluggish.

Hill sprints felt good legs felt good light on my feet too.

Glorious and ran pre breakfast. Really warm conditions. The hill I chose was 3% by my calculations. I ran at 1/2 marathon effort and the first two were tough and I struggled to get into the swing of it. Ran at a good 1/2 marathon effort for the next 4 till finally I pushed on for the final two. Overall felt strong and light on my feet was full of energy just thirsty towards the end. I took the recoveries easy and allowed the legs the opurtunity to recover fully. Watch malfunction again where I think it skipped a recovery. I think the watch is on the beginning of the end and have already started looking into buying a new one. Had it a while so not shocked.

Ran along the river indalston toward Carlisle and back with Anna. Really nice evening weather glorious. Legs felt good and fresh lots of energy. Few wrong turns here and there but no real issues. Ran on fairly good ground for the most part. My watch didn’t record the whole route.

Ran on the local lanes before travelling. Got straight up and out the door. Felt so tiered first 20’ and just not woken up. Progressively felt better and towards the end felt fairly good. Ran to a really nice rythym (once I had woken up).

Strideouts felt awesome really good and springy in my step so was happy overall. No twinges, tightness or niggles.

Ran along the front at Blackpool. Very busy and there was a procession of lorries down the front for the young lad that was struck by lightening earlier in the week.

Pace felt really relaxed and comfortable with Anna and the dog. Just allowed the legs the opurtunity to relax and recover from yesterday. Didn’t feel bad or heavy legged.

Strides felt good and moving well in the hips just generally strong feeling.
