Run around the block to make my foot hurt for the physio. Turned out that it wasn't an in person appointment but another over the phone. I've been told to do heel raises and balance exercises and to come back after 6 weeks if it's not improved. Frustrating not to be able to have someone to actually look at it, but I'd at least learnt the names for the different bones this time so I could describe it properly. He didn't seem to be concerned about anything too serious even if I was.
So from now doing 3*10 heel raises a day, increasing by 5 every 4 days until I'm up to 3*30, then start adding weight. And 3*60s+ single leg standing on balance board making it as difficult for myself as I need to.
